MXL is a powerful, professional and high-tech gauge that allows the user to sample and display a large number of parameters.
MXL includes a tachometer, 1 RPM input, 8 to 12 analogue inputs (temperatures, pressures, potentiometers, accelerometers and custom sensors), 1 to 4 speed inputs, gear and lap time.
With a beautiful and wide back lighted display, MXL allows a high speed USB data download and analysis with the powerful Race Studio 2 software.
MXL is one of the latest generation AIM products that communicates on a CAN network. This enables it to talk to other devices such as the LCU-ONE and GPS.

Easy Connection Technology 
Connection with ECUs
Thanks to our ECT (Easy Connection Technology) system, you will be able to connect the MXL to most motorsport ECUs, and many road cars such as the Volkswagen group, BMWs and Mini, Porsche by simply selecting your one from our custom database.
This way you can acquire data (through CAN or RS232 communication protocol) directly from your ECU.
In addition you still have the ability to create custom sensors.

- MXL Strada
The MXL Strada is a professional display with all the features you'd expect. Shift lights, alarm lights and backlight are all standard. SVA compliant with odometer and speedo.

- MXL Pista
The MXL Pista is a full-sized car dash with a built-in data logger. The 8Mb memory is large enough to record hundreds of laps of data to be analysed later with Race Studio 2 software. The comprehensive kit supplied includes a lap beacon and receiver, wiring loom, temperature sensors for an easy-to-install complete system.

- MXL Pro05
The MXL Pro is capable of recording four wheel speeds making it perfect for four wheel drive competition vehicles. Its large 16Mb memory and Autosport connectors make this a system for professional racers.

MXL expansion
All MXL dashes can be expanded through its CAN-BUS system. Other AIM CAN modules such as GPS, LCU and Smartycam can be easily linked via a datahub through a single connector on the back of the dash.
Software
All MXLs come with the free Race Studio 2 software: a powerful configuration and analysis tool. This software is upgradable from AIM's website. |
